I was notified of a device that logged onto my wifi that none of the family members have knowledge about.
Having used the same old unsecured password for the past 10 years just for convenience sake cost me about 4 hours of work when I’ve to change the password to a random generated one (something like this VBCU9FU7i3C@DpEw)
Going through all the IoT devices was no joke lolz. Didn’t realized how many I’ve accumulated over the past years.
At the very least my router has been upgraded to notify me of new devices connecting, else I’ll never know!
This is indeed a year of clean up and fine tuning. Decommissioned the old desktops, routers, usb 2.0 hubs, cables, packaging boxes and what nots.
