Of closer to home, we see the detrimental effect of
Cash is king
So then, feed your mind with the Word of God.
King David ponders upon the Word of God when he rises, all the day long, in the darkest night.
Free our mind
We are prisoners of thought that people put onto us. It may become self fulfilling.
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”-Philippians 4:8
Focus your mind
“Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel,”-2 Timothy 2:8
Live a life that is truly life.
A life of generosity.
“Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.” -Hebrews 12:3
“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” -Colossians 3:2
God needs to deal with our beliefs before he can deal with our behavior.
To transform we first need to know the truth.
- The truth is Jesus our savior and Christ.
- The truth we need help and we need to transform
- The truth from the Word of God. It will free or minds from all destructive thoughts.
- The truth of focusing our mind on thinking about God, about others and about eternity
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,” -Ephesians 3:20
set your goals high then, for whatever your goals, He will top it!
