A big fat U12 Error appears mid wash.
My washing machine model is FD18V1BRT
U12 states the door isn’t closed properly.
It’s a top load with glass cover. I even taped down the door with masking tape but still failed.
just 2 years in and then it malfunctions conveniently after it’s 1 year warranty period.
Thanks to the internet. Key in error and model and viola with some screw drivers later…
The sensor is covered in detergent and shortcircuit. Thankfully replacement part is only RM35 ($9) with free shipping on shopee.
DIY saved on labour and what’s not too.
