For months there’s this purple pink stuff on the porch. Looks like coolant from the MPV Toyota Innova 2012. But I didn’t pay much heed to it as the car was still running fine.
On to the one week trip from KL to Melacca (approx 300km, 3 hours drive) and the 3 hour journey to Johor but took 7 ½ hours because of festive CNY traffic, and back to KL a week later… I wonder how the MPV survived that whole journey without breaking down! All but by the grace of God!
Because a few days later the Aircon stopped working because the radiator water was low. And after filling up, the next day, Melissa got stuck on the federal highway because the radiator water was low again!
What would have taken months to slow drip and give problem, now happens almost immediately.

And in all circumstances, give thanks to God for His protection. Imagine, stuck on a highway, with jammed cars, in the middle of the night, and a family of young kids, hours drive from any remote repair shop, that is probably closed, and will charge a fortune for repair. Nightmare is an understatement.
On hindsight the engine oil changed just before the trip was crucial as the foreman helped filled the radiator once then. The rainy season helped cooled the radiator by however much during that weeklong trip. The pipe didn’t give way till a week after the trip. I can only imagine that God helped sustained the car till we are home!
