Look at His Face and Not His Hand

Two weeks and two days was what it took to finish reading Journey into God’s Heart by Jennifer Rees Larcombe.
Two weeks for the first half of the book, two days for the rest. Maybe the book got interesting after her miraculous healing, or maybe my reading habit kicked in.

Seek the Lord for himself, not for the power to serve him, or for the things you want to make your life comfortable. Seek him for himself alone; look at his face and not his hand.
